    Diligence Auto specializes in the repair and restoration business. We do mechanical work on most domestic classics and antiques . If you have a car, truck or even motorcycle that you want to get on the road after its been sitting for the winter or 30 years, we are the shop for you. We are car enthusiasts, just like most of our customers, and we are dedicated to keeping dreams alive. We are not a body shop, so we do not perform cosmetic repairs, just mechanical performance and restoration. 

    For any large repair or restoration job, we provide a very in-depth communication plan to help our customers know what to expect and how projects are going. We will start with a $500 authorization to start working on the car and to make a plan to see what it would take to finish the car. From there, we take larger chunks of authorizations to complete the car one step at a time. After every step, we stop to talk to the customer to explain where the car is at in the process and to discuss the next step in repairs and cost. We will never add to the bill or perform work without first getting customer authorizations. We cannot promise final costs for these jobs, as most older vehicles are bound to have hidden problems and unexpected issues. However, we always keep our customers informed of progress and expectations.
